Award Overview<\/h3>

The Natural Resources Research Interest Group (NRRIG) of the Rural Sociological Society is\u00a0<\/span>soliciting<\/span>\u00a0submissions for a graduate student paper award in the\u00a0<\/span>area<\/span>\u00a0environmental or natural resources sociology.\u00a0<\/span>The paper should be related to the broad interests of the NRRIG.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Eligibility<\/h3>

  • RSS graduate student member or recent graduate (received degree no earlier than May of the year of the award).<\/li>\n<\/ul> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
    \n

    Requirements<\/h3>
    \n
      \n
    • S<\/span>ubmit<\/span>ted<\/span>\u00a0abstract to present\u00a0<\/span>at the annual meeting\u00a0<\/span>in the area of<\/span> environmental or natural resources sociology.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Copy of the paper. (<\/span>Coauthored papers are acceptable, including those co-authored with faculty. If co-authored, the applicant (a) must be the lead author of the manuscript, and (b) provide a statement detailing the relative contributions of each co-<\/span>author.<\/span>)<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
    • All award applications must be\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>submitted<\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0through the official RSS website submission portal. Applications sent via email or any other method will not be considered.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
