RSS Leadership<\/h2>\n

The Rural Sociology Society (RSS) is led by a volunteer Council<\/strong> that includes elected officers and appointed committee chairs. Council roles include the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Executive Director, President-Elect, Past President, and chairs of RSS\u2019s standing committees. Leadership terms typically last 1\u20133 years and begin or end at the Annual Meeting. Most roles are unpaid, with the exception of the Executive Director.<\/p>\n

RSS Committees:<\/strong> Awards and Endowment, Development, Ethics, Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, Membership, Nominations, Program, and Publications.<\/p>\n
